We have recently supplied this London hospital with a range of TASKI floor care machines and Osprey steam cleaners. We are currently training in these new machines and working with their staff to help implement a new cleaning procedure which incorporates this new machinery.
We have been supplying this London PCT for a little over a year now with their cleaning chemicals and where suitable the microfibre cleaning system. In recent months we have taken over their paper supply and reducing their costs by introducing more cost effective systems which also maintain or indeed raise the hygiene levels in this area. This forward thinking PCT are looking to take their cleaning up a level, and in the smaller sites which are unable to accommodate a full microfibre cleaning system due to lack of laundry, we are introducing a full range of colour coded disposable microfibre.

Since the start of 2010 CK Consumables have been helping this trust to raise standards and bring down costs by rolling out and implementing new cleaning hygiene systems. We are streamlining and standardising the chemicals used throughout the various 32 sites whilst also helping to identify areas which would benefit from new machinery and innovative cleaning systems such as the VersaPlus flat mop. Along with the chemicals we have also identified paper supply as an area for cost saving and not only have we been able to reduce their costs in this area we have also brought in a new range of flushable hand towels to help prevent an ongoing issue with toilet blockages. This project is ongoing as we continue to roll out more and more sites including the upcoming and challenging Broadmoor site.

CK Consumables has been appointed an Authorised Distributor of TASKI floor cleaning equipment and has already earned its spurs by securing several major orders. This busy division of the Company has recently set up its showroom at Lower Sydenham as a working environment where customers can see and try the TASKI range on a number of different floor surfaces, and take advantage of seeing all the Osprey Deep Clean Steam systems in one spot. The JONMASTER Micro-fiber trolleys, as well as the Johnson Diversey Cleaning Chemical range, are also available for trial.
